I was commissioned by the influential tech blog, Techcrunch, to create an illustration for their first of a new series of editorials on a brand new platform for exclusive tech content called Extra Crunch in spring of 2019. The stylized isometric illustration depicts the story of Niantic's inception and rise to fame. From being founded at Google, to the release of Pokemon Go, Harry Potter Wizards Unite , and then taking AR into the future! The image works together as a whole , but is divided into four quadrants that, when isolated, accompanying a chapter of the story. The final was published online alongside five corresponding articles. The image was hand-drawn digitally using Photoshop and computer/stylus.
